Consumer drug information:
This is a paramedicinal product. On the basis of the naturopathic knowledge of the Ashaninka Indians (Peru) and medical examinations it slows down and stops inflammatory locomotor disorders. Its immunostimulant effect is indicated by medical examinations on the extract of the internal bark of the plant.
What active and other ingredients does the product contain?
Active ingredient: Uncariae tomentosae (Willd.) D.C. corticis ext. sicc. (12:1) 166.67 mg (which corresponds to a total oxindole alkaloid content of at least 5 mg).
Excipients: corn-starch, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, carnauba wax.
Indications for the usage of this tablet
– In itself for treating locomotor disorders – arthritis, rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis and to supplement medication – physiotherapic treatment.
– To strengthen the immune system, to improve defence capability of the body,
– To supplement medication in case of acute and chronic infections.
Contraindications
– If you are oversensitive to any of its active ingredients or excipients,
– If you have had organ transplant and taking immunosuppressive medicines.
What you should know before using this product?
Make sure you do not and are not even suspected to suffer from any of the above described diseases. If you suffer from any of these diseases inform your doctor about your taking this product.
What is the dosage and administration of the product?
Dosage:
Adults: 1 tablet daily, maximum 3×1 tablet
Children: Over 12 years of age daily dosage must be discussed with your health care professional.
Administration:
It is suggested to be taken after main meals with only little liquid.
How long can it be applied?
Application is suggested in therapeutic course.
– To strengthen the body as a supplement to medication, for 3-4 weeks.
– In locomotor disorder, without interruption for at least 3 months.
What you should consider during pregnancy and lactation?
Application is not suggested during pregnancy, breast feeding mothers should ask the opinion of their health care professional.
Can children take the product?
Children under the age of 12 are not suggested to take this product.
Can this product be taken with other medicaments?

Does this product affect the ability to drive and use machine?
No data on the effect on the ability to drive and use machine for which reason persons carrying out such activities should start to use the product carefully (in small doses).

Adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal complaints, epigastric pain, diarrhoea, turgidity and constipation may occur.

Cat’s claw or Savéntaro in Kechua language (meaning: effective) is a high woody vine native to the Amazonas rainforests. Its healing power is one of the most important basic materials of the traditional healing method of the Ashaninka Indian tribe used for centuries.
On the basis of worldwide researches going on since 1970 the World Health Organization (WHO) acknowledged it as herb in 1994. In medication it is usually the powder or the dry extract of the internal bark of the plant that is used. Active ingredients of the bark: oxindol alkaloids (POA = pentacyclic, TOA = tetracyclic), triterpens, kinovic acid derivatives, flavonid derivatives, poliphenols, sytosterols.
Out of its active ingredients oxidol-alkaloids are the most important from therapeutics point of view.
